Too busy to go

I've so much to get done that I've decided I'm just to busy to go anywhere yet.  If my cancer could just listen to that it would be good LOL.
I always get too far behind on my blog and then I can't remember things, so I thought I'd write tonight cos I can't sleep and I'm going away for the weekend.
Jay has invited me down to watch my first ever football match and I don't know whether I'll get it or not, but I'm going to try to understand all the rules and bits.
Then we're going to meet someone special on Sunday and I think we're doing a Christmas Fair thing as well cos I want to get a load of things.  I don't know what's there exactly but I know that I need to get loads lol.
After that, Dad has to get on a train to come back to work cos he loves work lol and me and Mum have been invited to go to the real Lush factory in Poole and see how it all gets made and even have a go. I am so excited because Lush is one of my favourite things in the world. When I go to hospital I always take some Lush things with me and all the nurses love the smell of my room.  This was something on the bit of my bucket list that I never put up on here so I didn't think that I'd ever get to do it, so it's even more special.  We're going to stay with our friends Jan and Paul cos we haven't seen them for ages either.
When I get back, mum is going to go and find a real Christmas tree and then we're going to decorate it.
Have a good weekend and I'll be smelling gorgeus next time I write.

  6. Oooh you lucky thing! I love the lush smell. If I ever walk into a shopping centre that I've not been to, I can always find Lush just by following my nose.

  10. Alice.you're my idol. LOL just to let you know, I did purchase one of your wonderful mugs and it flew across the pond to me. having my coffee in it as we speak, to the displeasure of my three Westies who do not feel my cup should have a lab on it! Love to you and yours, and enjoy your weekend's adventures.

  15. Alice, you are just so... there are no words. It is so amazing that you take all this in your stride and just keep on inspiring people. I hope they do give you another bash of the radiation therapy; I know you have completed a lot of your bucket list, but that's no reason to stop - just a reason to think up even more things to do.

Keep on Keeping on Baby! You are a star! XX

  19. I know what you mean about Lush, every time I go into their shop I just have to stop and take a big long SNIFF. Makes me look a bit like a nutter, but what the hell.

Hope you enjoy the factory, I've heard you can smell it from miles away!

I have been reading your blog for about a month now, and I don't know if you get a chance to read all your comments but I had to tell you this. I believe you are one of the most courageous young women I've had the interest to read about. Keep posting, and I'll keep reading. Your in my prayers!

  30. I know how much you love Lush but did you know you can make your own bath bombs realllly easily? Just get one cup of citric acid, one cup of bicarbonate or soda, half a cup of olive oil and half a cup of corn flour and mix them all together in a bowl with some aromatherapy oil of your choice and some dried flowers too if you want, then dry them overnight. It's so much fun and you can buy the ingredients easily online. Hope you try it out sometime!
