Leaving ...

Well, mum is running around shouting like a mad thing so I guess that means we're leaving soon! I've got to go to Liverpool first, and then I think we're getting on a train at tea time to go from there to London.
I'm not really nervous about tomorrow's meeting with the PM, I'm just worried about getting there and it happening lol. Mabel has gone to my Nan & Grandad for a few days and I'll miss her, although she probably won't miss me cos she loves being there, it's like a holiday camp for dogs!
Then, on Thursday I've got be back at Alder Hey again, but hopefully home on Friday so that's not too bad. Okay, I've got to go cos mum is getting stressy! I won't be able to update my blog for a few days because I don't have a sim card for this yet, but I'll update at the weekend :)

  8. Hi Alice,

Hope you've got off now & your Mum has stopped stressing! I heard about your blog the day after you started it & read it then, but then I got married on 11th June so I went away on honeymoon. I've just sat down to catch up on it all.
You've done some great work in promoting your cause - (I am going to click on the bone marrow register link now) but also all this money raised for Milly's run!
I hope your meeting with David Cameron goes well - do you know what you're going to say?
It's really sad that people are so mean to hack these sites & pretend to be you on facebook - but try not to let it bother you too much - your blog has done far more good than the bad they can do. I'm going to go & have a look at postpals now too. I'm looking for a new job at the moment which is really frustrating so I think that would be a great thing to make me stop feeling sorry for myself!
Hope you have a fun time in London & feel well throughout it.
    With love
    Jackie

  29. You are so brave and with that attitude I hope you live life to the fullest! Wow, you swam with sharks! That is so awesome! Labs are great dogs that's all my grandpa ever had as he was a hunter, fished and had a farm. They are so sweet! I sure wish I could help you with the whale watching as I live in the San Francisco area and have seen whales myself during the season. It is well worth it they are amazing creatures! If I had the money I'd pay for you to come here and see them but I am not well to do. What I don't have in money I make up for in trying to be the best person I can and treat others as I would wish to be treated. I'm surprised that you have training dolpins on your list but not swimming with them. I hear it's amazing! Were you in a shark tank?? I would of been dead right now if last July 12 (this is my 1 year anniversary) if it weren't for my room mate changing a pair of shoes before going to work. I was taken to the hospital and put in a Coma for 2 days and I still don't remember a thing except waking up in the hospital full of tubes. I was very lucky and they didn't find anything wrong after that. I wrote 2 blogs one after I got out of the hospital 2 days later and then one later about how being in a Coma was for me. It was nothing like they tell you. Sorry this is so long but you are one brave wonderful girl and I will say prayers for you! I hope that you have the time of your life however long it does turn out to be. I bet your family is proud of you, I know I am and you have moved me very much. Your name is Alice and I hope you find your true Wonderland. ♥

  33. Hello Alice, i'm brazilian, my name is Juliane, and knew today of its history. I would like to tell you on Jesus, someone should already have told you, but also i have one history. For a long time i know of Jesus, i know of the your power, of the your love by us. I was diagnosed with a tumor on the neck there years ago, and be was miraculously cured, after a prayer. God has different paths for each person, but your love is equal for all. God is on your side, even that often does not seem. The câncer is not more strong, than its power, but his will is more stronger than to our. I hope you can include as one of their wishes accept Jesus as their savior , it is not grimace, boring, I am young and taste to serve God , he is the love of my life, and fills the void that had my heart. You is one flower precious for God, and only he has control of your life. I will be praying for you. Read in your Bible II Samuel 22: 2-3. God bless you. Fondly, Salvador, Bahia, Brasil.

  36. Hi ya Alice, just came across your blog through Twitter. I'm all the way over in Canada but am from Barrow, so it's random but amazing that news has travelled so far. I have read a load of your posts, I love your writing style so I am going to keep popping by and taking a look. Your style is so embracing and chatty, it's lovely. I'm a writer too, in fact right now I am writing about family walks in Bradford, but I've never been on one. Mebbes I should have a bucket list too... Mebbes we all should because you are an inspiration that's for sure. I saw below about the weirdo who left crazy posts and I like your style and your outlook. It's hopeful and honest and like I said, an inspiration to everyone. Bye for Now, Amber

  48. Hi Alice! So Love what you are doing! I am a children's book writer and want to make your dream to be a dolphin trainer come true in my next book! Please let me know if you believe your wish would come true in this way, okay? My name is Mary van der Valk, you can Google me on both the American and the Dutch Google (Google.nl). I wrote a series of 9 books about 2 girls who have adventures with dolphins and would LOVE to base a character in the 10th book on you (she will be a Dolphin Trainer), and even name her after you, if you wish it! It would be published in both Holland and America. With Love and Respect, Mary van der Valk

  53. Hello Alice, I do love your name as a favorite childhood character was Alice in Wonderland.
I guess you get that alot, so let's get to the note: My family and I (Kim), live in the State of Delaware in the USA, we are tiny on the map but we are the most important State :) Ok, most people say DELA -- Where! most annoying but true. Anyhow, you could not live in a place I'd like to visit more than anywhere else as I followed all the news all of the years Princess Diana was with us - we all loved her love for all people. You are an inspiration Alice, you keep going strong and keep your head up no matter what anyone says - if the world was perfect what would any of us have to appreciate? Through what you are going through and however it will turn out, you have given the greatest gift of all, you have been hope for the hopeless, strength for the weak, and in a time that you would be expected to be selfish with your time, you share with all of us.

Love to you and yours, The Ogg's

  56. Hi Alice!
Wow I've never met or seen a braver person than you and I admire you so much. I've watched a few of my family members battle cancer, therefore I volunteer with CANSA which is in South Africa and we raise money for cancer research, wigs, and those who cannot afford therapy. Your story touched me immensely and I think you have a very cool bucket list.
Oh and I do wish you can go on your Kenya adventure someday. It's amazing there, extremely hot, but amazing.
    Goodluck!
